Delicious food! Visited here as a large group and ordered a range of meals off the menu. Pictured is a lamb shank platter with rice and salad. The lamb was soft and flavoursome, fell off the bone and was cooked really nice. Generous portion sizes and very reasonably priced. Definitely recommend!

The food here is always excellent. The platter arrived piping hot and was more than generous. The lamb, salmon and chicken was very flavoursome. We came at a busy time and they seated us within 15 mins. Although it can get very busy they go out of their way to accommodate us in a timely fashion.

Decent Food, But Service Needs Improvement We visited Al Kahf Restaurant for Iftar as a group of six and ordered three beef biryanis and two chicken biryanis. The food was honestly too good—the flavors were rich, the meat was tender, and the portions were satisfying. However, the service was a major letdown. The waiting time was far too long, which was frustrating, especially during Iftar when timing is crucial. If they could improve their service and reduce the waiting time, this place would be fantastic. But for now, it’s a mixed experience—great food, but be prepared to wait.

It was a new experience for me. Extremely delightful, delicious, mouth watering food!! Would definitely recommend them. The waiters and staff are very good in their service, detailed knowledge and explanation of the food. Always friendly and smiling...

Wow to start my review. Everything was fantastic. There were so many people but still our order came timely. Taste was unique meat was cooked perfectly along with rice. This was probably first Somalian hotel I have been to, and I regret why I didn’t is it earlier. Hopefully I will be back again. Highly recommended.

Its my second visit here. I love their lamb shoulders with rice. Will visit again. Service is good but the ambience is average.

Great place, great food. Quantity is insane. We had meat platter for 2, felt like it was actually for 5. I was almost in tears by the end of it, but great nonetheless. Will come again.

When we came to order we were amused by the great and reasonable prices. A chicken biryani for only 7. The waiting time was standard; they initially told us it would be around 20 minutes but we didn’t realise there was a downstairs to this restaurant. Once we received our food we were absolutely shocked by the size of the portion we were given. The portion I was given for the chicken biryani could probably feed 2 - portion shown in picture. The food it self was indescribable. I’ve never had such a great meal. You can taste the unique somali spices herbs and flavour. I had a good amount and I still had to take a full tub worth of food for takeaway. Honestly, overall this was a great experience. As a first time visitor, our hospitality was great. The service and workers, were great and humorous. If the atmosphere could improve a little bit I can definitely see you guys attracting more customers.
